Jesus once said, “Let the little children come to me. Don’t keep them away. The kingdom of heaven belongs to people like them.” In the Kids Ministry of FCC, we are dedicated to partnering with parents to lead children to become fully devoted followers of Christ. Through age-specific lessons, activities, and engaging content, your children—birth-5th grade—learn biblical truths and real-life application.

WeeKidz Birth - Pre K

WeeKidz is our weekly environment created especially for your infants through preschool-aged children. We can’t wait to meet them! We know things are busy at this stage of life and your children are learning and growing in surprising ways. WeeKidz is located in the east wing of the church. We offer nursery care for babies and toddlers, as well as classes for preschoolers during the 9:40 Sunday school hour and the 10:50 worship service. We are ready for them!

KidZone K–5th Grade

In KidZone, we believe the Bible should never be boring, worship can be loud, and good leaders always care. The focus is on our group environment. We want kids to see how God's Word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to him, and to build friendships that will last. It is offered during both the 9:40 Sunday school hour and the 10:50 worship service. KidZone is located in the gym of the family life center.

On your first visit, look for the “KIDZONE” banner by the gym or find the WeeKidz wing to the right of the worship center (right past the donuts and coffee, YUM!). You'll be greeted by a Kids Ministry leader eager to meet your family, and you'll learn how KidZone or WeeKidz works. We'll be there every step of the way (right up to your child's room), so feel free to ask questions!
Because we value safety, we will need some information at that time including family member's name, child's name and birthday, email, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, etc.).

Safety is a core value. That's why we have a secure check-in system at every Kids Ministry drop-off event.
During your first visit, you'll receive name tags for your kids and check out tags for parents. These will be exclusive to your family. The next time you join us, these will be printed for you. You will be asked to fill out a registration card. This will register your child to be dropped off. You can get ahead by filling one out before you visit by following this link: Child Registration Form
Upon check-in, you'll receive matching identification stickers. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion, and you will need to keep the matching tag. After the service, you'll show the registration leader your matching tag for your child to be released from his/her room.
If we need to contact you during the service, we can get either text message you or we will send an adult to contact you. We ask that you immediately find a Kids Ministry staff member or leader who will direct you to your child's room.

Biblical Truths

While we do plan to teach the entire Bible, we primarily focus on the life of Jesus. His life is the ultimate display of God and the truths we can apply to our lives. Our goal is to lead kids to Jesus.

Parents are spiritual leaders in their kids’ lives. Our goal is to have every parent be equipped, comfortable, and enjoy being the spiritual leader in their kids’ lives.

Safety is one of our highest priorities. That's why you'll receive a unique parent identification number each time you check in. Additionally, every volunteer is screened and participates in a background check. Our goal is to have every parent and child feel secure in KidZone and WeeKidz.

Relevant Teachings

Our environments and lessons are intentionally designed for your kids to understand. We're so passionate about supporting them in each stage of life that we provide the most engaging, relevant, and fun experience we can for kids.

When kids have fun, they can't wait to come back! And we know they'll have fun each week as they learn about who God is through games, activities, music, and video teaching.

See what your child is learning in KidZone or WeeKidz this week so you can encourage and pray with your family to turn lessons into growth. Check out our Kids Ministry Facebook page, Parent Link, emails, face to face conversations, and family devotionals to combine the influence of you and the church.

Staying connected with the Kids Ministry is simple. One way to connect is by volunteering. Our volunteers serve once a month and are encouraged, pastored, and lead towards a relationship with Christ so that they can lead kids to Christ. Another way is to ask questions and support the ministry by giving, bringing kids, and serving at special events. For any information about connecting, contact Jon Rhoades at
