WHAT TO EXPECT

At First Christian Church, it is our goal to guide people home.

It is our mission to guide everyone we encounter toward our loving Father, our caring family, and life-changing faith. Our church is a safe place for those seeking God, a church family, or life-saving faith. You won’t be singled out. You will encounter a family of believers who are far from perfect, but anxious to share the hope of Jesus Christ.

Where to Park:

Parking is always free and we will always have a spot ready for you. If it is your first time joining us, we have “Visitor Parking” available next to our handicap parking spaces.

What to Wear:

Dress in whatever you are most comfortable in! If you love your jeans and a ball cap, you’ll fit right in. Or, if you like your button up with some slacks, you’ll fit in too.

Hospitality:

Arrive about 15 minutes early to grab a free coffee, snack, and find your seat. Seating is available on the ground floor and in our balcony. If you have time, stop by the welcome desk to receive a free gift and let us know you were there so we can be sure to follow up with you during the week.

Accessibility:

We offer hearing assistance for those who are hearing impaired and also have a “Family Room” located to the left of the sanctuary and next to the bathrooms. The “Family Room” is available for parents with small children who need to be changed, rocked, or some extra space to make noise. There is comfortable seating and a live stream of the service playing.

Senior Minister

Our Senior Minister is Chris Gregg. He is well known in our community for being positive, relatable, and caring. He is incredibly passionate about our church and leading people to the life God has planned for them.

Teaching

Our Sunday morning services meet for about an hour and you can expect teaching from one of our ministers. Our ministers primarily speak through series that have a theme and always focus on what the Bible says first.

Kids

Kids 6 months through 5th grade can learn about Jesus on their level. Kids 6 months through 2 years old will be cared for by an amazing team and experience playtime. Preschoolers will have the opportunity to make a craft, eat a snack, and participate in activities based on lessons from the Bible. Preschoolers and younger kids will meet in our WeeKidz area to the right of the sanctuary. Elementary kids in grades K-5 gather for music and teaching that will be relevant, use technology, and engage them in a way they understand. Elementary age kids will meet in our KidZone area which is located in our school building. But look for the Kidzone banner outside!

Students

Students in grades 7-12 can get connected to Christ and community at Worship Uncoiled. During the school year on Sunday nights, students gather on Sunday nights for open gym, a free meal, attend service together, meet up in groups after service, then hang out for games and fun. Each month we have a student event where all students are welcome to join us.
